Herdict goes Chrome
Over the last year, we’ve seen a shift in our user’s browser preference, with over 10% of our visitors now coming from Chrome browsers. It’s time to formally welcome them to the herd. Today, we’ve launched an add-on for Chrome. You can download it here.
It works similarly to our Firefox and IE add-ons. The sheep icon changes color as you browse indicating if others in your country or around the world have reported the site you’re viewing as blocked. When you surf to a site that is inaccessible, you can report directly from your browser by clicking on the sheep icon.
The Chrome add-on is the first in a set of upgrades being released in the coming weeks from Herdict. We’re bug-testing our new site design which includes much more flexible and interactive graphics on the Explore side of the site, and we’re testing out an iPhone app. Can’t wait to share the latest with the herd!
